Go Design was engaged to create an outdoor learning/breakout space to complement the new middle school building nearby.
Featuring a large concrete amphitheatre, unique architectural canopy, bespoke seating with integrated lockers that double as a large outdoor standing desk complete with USB and power points for laptops.
Go Design was engaged by Bacchus Marsh Grammar to design an interconnected reception and office building by linking the two existing surrounding structures.
The new building provides a more practical workspace, with greater access control to the campus, while also providing larger waiting and office spaces for students and staff.
Some of the challenges we had to overcome were the existing structures either side being at differing floor level heights, the confined space meant ramps weren't an option which led to a platform lift being installed, the new and existing buildings required fire separation, and the reception required visual hierarchy without overtaking the existing styles of the surrounding buildings.
Go Design was engaged to design a new outdoor recreation space to complement the double storey middle school building at Bacchus Marsh Grammar's Woodlea Campus.
Featuring a giant chess board, picnic tables and plenty of shade to encourage social interation, outdoor study and relaxation.
Go Design was tasked to design and document the refurbishment for a modular classroom block to include large open plan technology rooms, five tutorial/study rooms and additional storage spaces.
The project also required perimeter decking and verandah with fully compliant ramp and stairs, treated for the flooding and termite requirements on site.
